All troops participating in the Girl Scout Cookie Program are encouraged to recruit a troop cookie manager and all service units are encouraged to recruit a service unit cookie manager to help manage the sale. The following required Cookie Program training opportunities are intended for these two types of cookie managers.
Required Cookie Training
We require all cookie managers to complete two trainings. The first training is an overview of the Cookie Program. The second is a training on Smart Cookies—our baker’s (ABC Bakers) online system for tracking cookie inventory. In-person training is recommended; however, there is also online training available as well.
For Troop Cookie Managers
Contact your local service unit cookie manager to find out when and where your in-person training will take place. New troop cookie managers should complete both the online and the in-person training to ensure you understand all elements of the Cookie Program.
For Service Unit Cookie Managers
In-person training will be provided by River Valleys.
