During the Sale
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and money transactions with families by collecting signed receipts using the provided receipt books.
- Collect at least 50 percent of money due from families prior to distributing additional inventory.
- Read the Counterfeit Money Tips article for information on how to identify and handle counterfeit money.
- Be mindful of the date and details for the first Automated Clearing House (ACH) withdrawal. Refer to the Automated Clearing House (ACH) FAQs for more information.

- Deposit money promptly and frequently into your troop’s bank account. Girl Scouts River Valleys recommends weekly deposits.
After the Sale
- Collect remaining money from families and deposit into troop’s bank account by April 1, 2023.
- Be aware of dates and details for the final ACH withdrawal. Refer to the Automated Clearing House (ACH) FAQs for more information.
- If needed, submit a Finance/Inventory Issue Form by end of day on April 1, 2023. Refer to the Finance/Inventory Form FAQs for more information.
Depositing Checks Into Your Troop Account
- Never have more than $1,000 in your possession at one time.
- Endorse all checks with “for deposit only”.
- Use the Deposit Slip Listing Sheet to track checks being deposited.
- Do not deposit cash or checks into your personal account.

During the Sale
