Author of young adult novel Anyway You Slice It, Kristine Carlson Asselin is available for one-hour group discussions (via Skype/Google/Facetime) to talk to girls about themes in the novel or about writing/publishing in general. Discussion questions can be centered around Cadette badges “The Science of Happiness” or “Good Sportsmanship” or can be customized to particular group interests. Kristine encourage the girls to generate a list of questions to guide the conversation. This young adult novel is geared towards Girl Scouts in grades 6-12 due to a few instances of mild adult language.
Girl Scout leaders should contact Kristine to arrange a mutually convenient time and to discuss details. Troop discussions with Kristine can happen before, during or after reading her book. The $6 per girl registration fee includes an e-pub or Kindle compatible copy of Anyway You Slice It.
