Snacks & Magazines Order Deadlines
Can you be-leaf it? We are in the final stretch of the Snacks & Magazines Program!
This Sunday, October 23, is the last day for snack order card sales. Reach out to participating families to remind them of this important date.
No, it’s not too late for Girl Scouts to get started in the sale. Even with just a few days left to go, Girl Scouts can still create their online account, send emails to friends & family, and take orders with their snack order card.
Entering Snack Order Card Sales
Before the last day of the sale, connect with your Girl Scouts and their families to confirm who is entering the data. Ask them if they will be entering the snack order card sales or if you will be doing it for them. See the schedule below for each M2OS user’s deadline.
Note: Users are locked out of entering orders once their deadline has passed. If you are entering the snack order card for families, ask that they email or text you a picture of the Girl Scout’s snack order card. It’s a great backup if the order card gets misplaced between now and when the snacks arrive in November.

Deadline to Enter Snack Order Card Sales in M2OS |
---|---|---|
Girl/Family | Now | Oct 24 |
Troop | Oct 25 | Oct 28 |
Service Unit | Oct 29 | Oct 30* |
*No late orders can be accepted after the Service Unit order entry deadline has passed.
Note: Online snacks and magazine orders end October 30 at 11:59 p.m. This gives customers one final chance to complete their online orders, troops the opportunity to earn additional proceeds, and Girl Scouts time to receive credit towards their rewards. Nothing needs to be submitted for online snack or magazine orders. These orders are already credited to the Girl Scout and the troop at the time of purchase.
If a Girl Scout is not listed in M2OS after October 23, you must contact us to have them added to the system. You cannot add a Girl Scout’s in-person snack order(s) until the Girl Scout is added to M2OS.
Review our M2OS Quick Tips for Troops for help entering snack order card sales and/or Girl Scout rewards. If families are entering these sales, share the M2OS Quick Tips for Families as a handy-dandy resource.
Entering Girl Reward Choices
Families and troops can make reward choices until October 30 at 11:59 p.m. This deadline only applies to Girl Scouts that reach a sales level where there is a choice between an item and Fall FUNds. After October 30, if a selection is not made, the girl’s reward choice will default to Fall FUNds.
Reminder: Service Unit volunteers cannot make reward choices for Girl Scouts.
When entering the snack order card sales, girl rewards will not automatically update. These entries are updated every hour on the hour, so you may have to enter the snack order card sales and then return later to enter the reward selections. Don’t worry, M2OS will also send a helpful reminder to families to make a choice if needed.
Electronic Fall FUNds
Girl Scouts who select Fall FUNds will receive a code in an email. This code can be used for all redemption options included on our Snacks & Magazines Rewards webpage. Juliettes will receive their Juliette Program Credits the same way. These emails will be sent in December.
“Makin’ Waves with Fall Faves” Button & Bonus Prizes
For Girl Scouts that earned our exclusive “Makin’ Waves with Fall Faves” Button, remember these buttons will not appear in M2OS and will not be included in the reward shipment in December to the service unit. Buttons will be shipped directly to the Girl Scout’s home address on record. We’ll be drawing for the bonus prizes (Make Waves blankets and Pumpkin Spice Latte Squishmallows) soon and connect with the winners by email.
Troop Bank Account Information
As you wrap up the sale, don’t forget to verify your troop bank account information is correct in M2OS by October 30. The bank account information is required for Girl Scouts River Valleys to process the ACH withdrawal in December. If your troop is owed proceeds due to a high volume of online payments, we also need the bank account information to transfer the proceeds to your troop.
To verify the bank account information, go to Banking & Payments on your M2OS dashboard. This page will show a snapshot of your troop’s financial activity. Click anywhere on the row showing your troop’s payments, which will open a new page. From that page, click on the Manage ACH button and follow the prompts to edit the information if needed.
Troop Wrap-Up Reminders
Now is a great time to reach out to your troops to see if they need any assistance wrapping up their sale. Remind them of the order entry deadlines and to communicate with Girl Scouts and families about how their snack order card sales should be entered (by the troop or the families). Send a quick email, text, or post on your Service Unit Facebook page or in Rallyhood.
It’s also a good idea to log into M2OS to verify that troops are entering orders in the system. For a quick way to review troop orders, go to the Reports tab on your Service Unit dashboard. You can scroll through the troops or print, download, or export a report at the bottom of the page. If you notice a participating troop has not entered any sales, reach out to the troop volunteer with a friendly reminder of the deadline.
Entering Late Snack Orders
Remember that you can enter late snack orders for troops in your Service Unit from October 29 through October 30 at 11:59 p.m. Troops and Girl Scouts can make reward choices until then, but you will not be able to enter in reward selections for Girl Scouts who are missing the choice between an item or Fall FUNds. No late snack orders or reward orders can be accepted if these deadlines are missed.
Review the M2OS Quick Tips Guide for Service Units for details on how to enter snack order card sales.
We’re sending you a virtual “high-five” for helping troops wrap up their sale and ensuring all orders are entered on time.
