For Service Unit Fall Product Managers:
The new school year has begun, and those long summer days are just a memory. As you get back into the hustle and bustle of the school season, don’t forget the first day of Fall is fast approaching AND it’s the first day of the Snacks & Magazines sale. If you missed our last In a Nutshell blog post, it is a must-read. The first post was packed with reminders, training information, a list of resources, and a preview of what’s new this season. In this edition, we focus on your pre-sale “to do” list to ensure both you and your troop are ready to rock this season. Plus, we have some surprises, like a ton of fun prizes for girls to win, that you don’t want to miss!
M2OS Registration Emails & First Steps
M2OS is your online home base for managing your troop during the Snacks & Magazines Program and where your girls will be able to sell online. You will receive an email with a link to register your M2OS account next week (the week of September 13). The registration link is sent to the email address we have on record for your volunteer role. If you didn’t receive the link, contact us. Check your junk mail folder in case the email has landed in this location, and add email@example.com to your safe sender list or address book to make sure you get emails from M2OS in the future.
Reminder: Girls will not be able to access M2OS until Go Day.
Once you log in, you’ll watch a short training video to learn the basics of the system. This video will be available on your dashboard to reference any time you need a quick refresher. Our M2OS Quick Tips sheets are also great resources for navigating the system before, during, and after the sale. Download M2OS Quick Tips for Troops and M2OS Quick Tips for Families to learn all the things you and your girls can do in M2OS. M2’s Customer Care Team is also available to help you troubleshoot any issues for both troops and girls:
Don’t forget to add or verify your troop bank account information. Plus, create and personalize your avatar. Girls love to see their troop leader’s avatar—so have some fun with it!
Go Day Checklist
Follow these easy steps to ensure the girls in your troop are ready to go for Go Day on September 22:
- Distribute snack order cards and Family Guides to each participating girl
- Connect with your service unit fall product manager if you need more!
- Direct families to complete the Snacks & Magazines Family Responsibility Form
- Review the list of girls in M2OS. If a girl is not listed, remind the family to complete registration
- The email address for each girl’s primary caregiver will also be added to M2OS for the parent/guardian email blast. Update email addresses if needed so girls will get an email on Go Day with an invitation to set up their account
- Instruct families on how to collect money for any snack order card sales (either at the time of order or delivery)
- Remind families about Go Day and share the link for the Selling Resources for helpful info
Find a handy-dandy checklist for the entire program in your
Snacks & Magazines Troop Guide.

Snack Delivery Dates
Later this month, you’ll receive an email with your snack delivery date for the service unit. Snack deliveries will occur between November 9-12. The timeframe of the delivery will be emailed to you the week prior to your delivery date. Deliveries can be made to homes, workplaces, or even community buildings. An adult must be on-site to verify the delivery order with the delivery staff. You’ll enter your delivery location in M2OS along with the shipping address for girl rewards. Once received, you can share the delivery date and location with your troops to help in their sale planning.
Requesting Additional Sales Materials
Are your troops requesting additional troop or girl sales materials? No problem! Complete the Fall Product Materials Request Form to request added supplies. Troops can join in the program any time between now and the end of the sale
