Cookie Rewards Spotlight
As we head into the final ten days of cookie season, we continue to shine a spotlight on some of our favorite cookie rewards. If you notice a girl is very close to the next reward level, reach out and encourage her to set a new stretch goal. Here’s the latest reward spotlight for this week:
The Be Amazing XL Sport Bottle & Mini LED flashlight at 325 packages are must-haves for the girls on the go this summer! Whether she’s at camp, on a stay-cation in her backyard, or hanging out with a friend—she’ll reflect on her cookie accomplishments each time she uses these fun and functional items.
Girls that make the selection of the private shopping event at Scheels Eden Prairie at the 1,000 package level are in for a treat! She’ll have the chance to shop at this bee-yond amazing store before its open to the public with their very own gift card and some added surprises. This event will be held on May 22 from 8:30–9:30 AM.
Dream Team 2021
Girls that sell 1,000+ packages of cookies in 2021 become part of the Dream Team. We are super pumped to announce a socially distant and in-person event to celebrate their accomplishments! Dream Team “Under the Stars” will be held at Bethel University on May 15. It’s a private, drive-in theatre event just for Dream Team girls and their families. Watch for more details in the Dream Team invitations, which will be mailed to girls in late April.
Half-Off Camp Coupon
As girls are making their reward choices, please note the 2021 Half-Off Camp Coupon at the 825 package level must be used in the summer of 2021 at one Girl Scouts River Valleys’ summer resident camp session or council-approved service unit day camp session. The coupon’s maximum value is $250. The “fine print” for all the rewards at the 825 level and above can be found on the cookie rewards page.

Online Cookie Orders & Troop-Secured Cookie Booths Through April 4
We heard you! While some troops are ready to wrap up their sale on April 2, others want to keep selling over the Easter holiday weekend. To support these goal getters, girls can continue to share their cookie sales links, plus accept orders for local cookie delivery and direct-ship sales through April 4. Troop direct-ship sales links will also remain open during this time. If girls no longer wish to participate in local delivery, their parent/guardian can turn off the option in Smart Cookies.
Troops can also opt to participate in troop-secured cookie booths. To ensure your booths are approved in time for the weekend, enter your requests no later than 12:00 PM on April 2.

We are here to help take the confusion out of tracking cookie donations for the Cookie Care Program in Smart Cookies. We’ve created this Managing Cookie Donations to assist you in tracking donations as you begin to wrap-up the season.
Last Chance for Cookies Marketing Tools
Girls can market their cookie business by reminding their customers that this is the last chance to stock up on cookies for the year. “Last Chance” displays at booths and through social media marketing are a great way to help girls reach their goals or stretch goals. Check out the last chance for S’Mores on the ABC Bakers Flickr site or have girls create their own “last chance” marketing displays.
Cookie Cupboard Updates
Cookie Central has the latest info on cupboards, including cookie inventory alerts to review ahead of your cupboard appointment. Regional Cupboard locations will continue with their deadline of Monday at 9:00 AM for planned orders. The final planned order will be this Monday, March 29.
Review Cupboard Transfers
You can review all cupboard transfers in Smart Cookies using your Transfer Order Summary Report. Filter the report for “Cupboard to Troop” transfers to narrow the results to only cupboard pickups. If you notice an error between Smart Cookies and your physical inventory, or notice a transfer is missing, please complete the Cookie Cupboard Error Report Form.
Forward to Families
Here’s the latest update to copy, paste, and forward to families in your troop:
- Girls can continue to share their cookie sales links, plus accept orders for local cookie delivery and direct-ship sales through April 4. If you no longer wish to participate in local delivery, you can turn off the option in Smart Cookies. In the girl account, click the “person icon” in the top left corner and select edit profile. Then uncheck the box “opt-in for social link girl delivery option.”
Cookie Combo Patch
The personalized patch from the Snacks & Magazine Program always gets a lot of buzz. Girls can earn two personalized patches each year: one for Snacks & Magazines and one for the Cookie Program, called the Combo Patch. Girls earn the Combo Patch for sending 15 or more emails in the recent Snacks & Magazines Program, and selling 275 packages of cookies. Girls can edit their avatar in M2OS until April 7. If earned, the patches will be sent directly to the girl’s home address in early Summer.
Service Unit Bonus Email
Service unit managers and service unit cookie managers will receive an email tomorrow with more details on the service unit bonus. The numbers in this email are a snapshot of your Service Unit’s participation and final numbers will be sent mid-April. Service units that meet or exceed 75% in girl participation* will be awarded the bonus amounts below:

*A girl is considered participating if she has been credited with at least 12 packages of cookies in Smart Cookies. The participation rate will be determined by the number of girls registered in the service unit as of January 31, 2021.
To qualify for the bonus, service units must have:
- Completed their 2019-2020 Girl Scout Finance Report
- At least one service unit volunteer completed all cookie training by February 1
