This post is part of a series for World Thinking Day 2016..
WOW! What a week! I hope you had as much fun as I did learning about Girl Scouts all around the world.
Haven’t had enough of World Thinking Day yet? Here are some more ways to celebrate with your troop:
Connect with me: If we don’t take the time to connect with ourselves and understand what we need to be happy and confident, we won’t be able to make the difference we want to make in other people’s lives.
- Lead a yoga practice with your troop to help them get grounded and connect with their inner selves!
Connect with friends: Connection is friendship and friendship is happiness.
- Have a troop bonding day with another troop in your area, or have girls bring a friend to a meeting to help foster the connections they already have!
Connect with the world: Look wider and see how you can make a difference in the places you care about. Get to know your community or a place in nature, then look wider still and connect with the amazing world of Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting.
- Host a global potluck! Ask girls to each bring a dish from a different country – bon appetit!
Connect, share, and celebrate! Share your WTD 2016 adventures on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) and connect with Girl Guides and Girl Scouts around the world.
- Share your pictures and well wishes with GSRV on Facebook or Twitter – don’t forget to include the hashtag!
Remember, World Thinking Day is Monday, February 22. Now get out there and CONNECT with your own troop of global citizens!
